Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Chhaya Manush - The Pact (2014)
The story is about Rahul(Parambrata) a struggling writer who has his friend Trisha, a journalist to keep him company most of the times since he is a lonely soul) who comes across his old friend Arka one day
which changes or well, destroys his life. Arka tells him that his life has been destroyed after he entered the 'Pact' because of Pranotosh Doyal Dinobandhu(Kaushik Ganguly),a a man who appears from nowhere at will and disappears at will and knows everything about everyone and seems to be controlling everyone's life. He makes you enter in to a 'pact' and if you break it, you pay for it with your life! That's what happens to Arka! He pays for it with his life. Rahul is forced to enter the Pact after he meets Pranotosh as his life would change for the better after that according to Pranotosh. He gets a contract to write a book and even the rights for a film. He is even advised to go and spend some days at a bungalow by his publisher Baidyanath(Soumitra Chatterjee) where his niece stays. After reaching
there, Rahul's days are spent in the company of Gauri(Raima Sen), Baidyanath's niece whom he falls in love with .However a little girl whom he sees over a period of time who appears and disappears from
time to time and the presence of Pranotosh again there who appears and disappears in his own manner startles him. Later on there is a shocking turn around of events which is bound to shock all!
