China Gate is a 1998 Indian Bollywood action film released on Nov 27, 1998. The film is directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi, produced by Raj Kumar Santoshi , music composed by Jatin-Lalit.

After witnessing the brutal destruction of her Forest Officer dad named Sunder Rajan, at the hands of dreaded crooks Jageera, Sandhya goes to Colonel Krishnakant Puri and asks for his help in bringing an end to Jageera's rule in the Devdurg region. Krishnakant agrees to help her and cites about a dozen of his fellow officers and subordinates to assist him. They all gather at Devdurg with all the necessary munitions and arms to combat Jageera, not thinking that Jageera has influence over the local police disunion, which will prevent Puri and his boys to possess any guns and weapons. This does not impede Puri and his men, and they force to stay on in Devdurg and gain the confidence of the villagers. What the villagers are not awarethat Krishnakant and his boys had all been dishonorably discharged from the army for cowardice and reversing when attacked by the enemy. Will Puri and his boys abandon Devdurg and let history repeat itself?
