Chingaari is a 2006 Indian Bollywood drama, social, romance film released on Feb 17, 2006. The film is directed by Kalpana G. Lajmi, produced by Vikas Sahni , music composed by Aadesh Shrivastav.
The story is about Basanti and her living. She is a prostitute having a child named as Titli. She is actually working with Illa.Chandan is a new postman in the village. Now, after getting into the village, he comes to know of Basanti’s story and he is very touched by her. Then the third character is Bhushan who is the devotee of lord kali. He considers himself as the god and wants to act like his religion is the best suited of all. Now, the movie further shows that how this man does some supernatural aghori stuffs to entertain his regular people and one of them is Basanti. Now, in the story Chandan is friendly with Basanti and she tells him that she wants to lead a better life for her daughter named as Titli. Chandan falls in love with her and then he adds to give her a very bright life for both of them. The priest doesn’t want this to take place and therefore, he plans to kill Basanti. But, in this, Chandan is murdered. Then, when one day, Basanti is actually waiting for Chandan, she is heartbroken and doesn’t know of what had happened to Chandan. She is back to her life of prostitution. Then after getting to know of the things happened, the villagers and Basanti goes to the temple to kill Bhushan and he is killed with Basanti crying for Chandan.
