Circuswale is a 1950 Indian Bollywood action film released on 1950. The film is directed by Balwant Bhatt.
Seth Jayprasad was the sole Proprietor of Bharat Gramophone Co. but now as he was old his son Navneet was attending to business. Sewakram was as honest servant of the Co., in whose presence Seth Jayprasad made his will giving all the cash to bharati a daughter of his old friend and the immovable property to Navneet.He also wished that Bharati be married to Bipin one of his faithful servants. . Navneet did not like all this. So while Bharati was going to Khandala for a change of season, men sent by Navneet dashed with her car and threw it over a bridge into the river. They thought she is finished for ever. However, circus caravan passing through the dense forest saw Bharati lying unconscious on the road. The caravan picked her up and finding that she had lost her memory took her up as one of their own troupe. The circus travelled from place to place and the owner of the circus Pratap and his leading girl panna taught her many a feats to be performed. They named her Dolly. . Once during a performance when Navneet had come to see, he felt that Bharati has come to life in the garb of Dolly. He tried to find out the truth but since dolly had lost her memory she could not recollect that she was actually Bharati. Navneet thought this was one of her tricks and tried to blow her off along with a trolley carrying explosives but failed. . The only way to bring her memory back was to consult a good Doctor and operate on her. There was only one good Doctor who could do the trick. While Bipin went to bring him Navneet tried to keep him away from the and succeeded to some extent . The other way to bring her back to sense was to make her listen to the last record which she had sung just before the accident. Navneet tried to destory the record and Bipin tried to get it with the help of Pratap and Panna. . Whether Bipin pratap and Panna succeeded or not remains to be seen on the screen.
