Deedar-E-Yaar is a 1982 Indian Bollywood drama, romance, costume film released on Oct 22, 1982. The film is directed by H. S. Rawail, produced by Prasan Kapoor , music composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.
The story starts with Javed meeting Sikander. Sikander sister is Firdous. Javed after meeting Firdous falls in love with her and he gives a love letter to Sikander by mistake and asks him to give it to Firdous. Now, Javed is not aware that Firdous is Sikander’s sister. Sikander after knowing this, asks Javed to not face his sister again. But, Firdous also starts liking Javed. They all live in Lucknow, where the city is of Nawabs. Now, in the story Nawab Akhtar's sister named as Nasima's hubby Jahang everyday goes to Husna's kotha and he decide to get married to her. In order to save his sister’s life, he decides to visit Kotha and then he meets with Husna. Akhtar is been killed by Jahang, but is saved. Then in the shop, Akhtar falls in love with Firdous. Both Akhtar and Javed liked the same girl. Then after much confusion, Akhtar comes to know that Firdous is Javed’s lover and he is ready to marry other. Then on this end, Akhtar comes to know that Husna is ready to marry to him and she’d rather leave all her dance and singing after getting married and she even tries to attempt suicide for him.
