Small town girl, Gracy Singh decides to run away from a bad marriage and a wicked step mother. She plots a heist with a bunch of similar disgruntled small towners who are lured by big city life. But the heist goes wrong and crime doesn't really pay! Here's another black and brooding comedy, after the crackling Sankat City. But there's a difference. It's really not a bad concept - four unrelated individuals drawn to crime and the lure of quick riches to fulfill latent dreams and aspirations or simply to escape a miserable life. The production supports the premise of the film by providing sets, locations and costumes which are authentic and attractive.

Where do I begin. The good thing about Dekh Bhai Dekh is that it may not be playing at a theatre near you. I had to travel all the way from Juhu to Goregaon to catch a Friday morning show. And they say a critic’s job is fun. There was further insult in store. The posters advertised Dekh Bhai Dekh, but the film credits read Dekh Re Dekh. Who cares anyway, my advice is please don’t dekh.
