Dhadkan is a 2000 Indian Bollywood romance film released on 2000. The film is directed by Dharmesh Darshan, produced by Ratan Jain under banner named Venus Records & Tapes Ltd., music composed by Nadeem-Shravan.
Dev and Anjali are in love with each other. Dev comes from a very poor background while Anjali is a rich man's girl. Anjali's dad disapproves of Dev and arranges her wedding with Ram. Ram is an affectionate beau but Anjali is still haunted by memories of her past love and does not react to the love of Ram. Ram lives with his stepfamily who betrays him, but Ram believes that one day they will surely undergo a change. But that does not take place and hence Ram asks his stepfamily to leave his place. Anjali starts getting attracting to Ram, but Dev arrives back in her life. He has become a millionaire and wants to gain the love of Anjali. Therefore he creates a financial trouble in Ram's life.
