Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Dhai Akshar Prem Ke (2000)
Yogendra Grewal lives with his mommy, Biji, in a joint family subsisting of his girl, Sahiba; his bros Pritam, Sharan, and Ronak; Sharan's beau, Sweety; Pritam's beau, Monica; and their respective kids. Sahiba is of matured enough and of marriageable age and the family, especially Biji, would like her to get wed. But Sahiba is just not ready to get wed and runs away from home. Lost and lonely, she unfolds a murder being committed and departs straight into the arms of an army executive Karan Khanna, who convoy her back home. Everyone thinks that Karan is here to get wed to Sahiba, and he is welcomed and treated as one of their family member. Only Sahiba knows that Karan has a girlfriend in Nisha, who is waiting for his return to get wed to him. The family members are disappointed when they find out that Karan is meant to engage with someone else, and quickly arrange for Sahiba's wedding with Vicky Singhal, the only boy of Rai Bahadur Tejeshwar. Sahiba, who has given her love to Karan, warily agrees to this marriage, only to find out that the individual she is marrying is none other than the person she had seen killing a lady. She tells this to her family members, but nobody believes her and it looks like Sahiba's chance is sealed with that of a killer, who may well make her his next mark.
