Dhoom is a 2004 Indian Bollywood action, thriller film released on Aug 27, 2004. The film is directed by Sanjay Gadhvi, produced by Aditya Chopra under banner named Yash Raj Films, music composed by Pritam Chakraborty.
A group of bikers headed by the cool-headed and aloof Kabir is on a robbing bingeing in Mumbai. They rob formation and then zip away on their superbikes. ACP Jai Dixit is the in-charge and he trains a inept bike mechanic and racer named Ali to follow the gang on a bike and help Jai cop them. Kabir accepts the threat, and pulls off another robbery during a function. This causes Jai and Ali to signal it off. Jai abdicates from the police force and Ali goes back to his daily job. Then, Kabir has lost one of his team representatives and trains Ali for their final job in Goa.
