Duniyadari is a 2013 Indian Marathi action, drama film released on Jul 19, 2013. The film is directed by Sanjay Jadhav, produced by Sanjay Jadhav , music composed by Pankaj Pushkar.
The movie traces itself back to apparently the late 70s and nothing is spelt out, but each character and its importance in the plot is carefully unveiled through the historical which revolves around Shreyas Talwalkar (played by Swapnil Joshi) is thrown into college life in Pune on his mom’s insistence. Under the situations which are evocative of college life in the Hindi cinema of the 80s, Shreyas makes buddies with DSP aka Digya ( played by Ankush Choudhary) and his gang. A do-gooder standing tall for accord in the face of a creepy Saai (played by Jitendra Joshi), Shreyas becomes the voice of existence for the rustic gang. While he finds himself in love with Shirin but Meenu (played by Urmila Kanetkar) get involved to shreyas which creates a love triangle. Shirin is a student of Medical college and sisr of pritam. They are the kids of an MLA from Kolhapur, who hates shirin. Shreyas takes Meenu's proposal out of spite for shirin, but is not sure about their future affair. Saai fixes his wedding with shirin against her wish. Meenu later comes to know that Shreyas is deeply in love with Shirin. On Saai-Shirin's marriage day, Shreyas and his buddies fight with Sai's gang and finally Shirin gets wed to Shreyas. But she is known that Shreyas is a patient of a deadly disease and has only few months to live. They are about to enter gestation. The film ends with a great touching scene where all the buddies, now in their early 50's, meet at the same troop of their college on Shreyas's birthday and utters their feelings for him.
