Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Foreign Chi Patlin (2009)
The story starts with Ramchandra Patil. He goes to abroad to seek his education. He there meets with Madam Jennifer. Both of them fall in love with each other. Then one day, they decide to tie the wedding knot and they return to Ramchandra’s village. There she meets with Ramchandra’s family and she decides to adopt herself as per the village’s tradition. She decides to become the patlin of that village. But her mother-in-law is very narrowing minded and she doesn’t accept her bahu in the way she is living. So, Madam Jennifer decides to learn all the basic ABC’s of her life and it is here that she does the development of the village. She tries to sort all the odd problems of the village and she does the development of the village and thus, unites her family after many disputes.
Ramchandra Patil (Girish Pardeshi) goes abroad to take education. There he meets Madam Jennifer (Billiana Rodonich,). They fall in love and get married. Ramchandra gets his newly married wife to his village. This gori-suun then becomes Janki Patil.The main attraction of the movie is Billiana Rodonich,'s role as Janki Patil. The movie revolves around her respect towards the Indian culture and traditions which are totally different from her traditions, her love for her husband and her struggle to take the village towards development. While speaking bout her role Biliyana says,I loved my role as a Patilin. Indian people, especially, those in the village are very hard working. I have not worked earlier but Indian culture has given me lessons in acting.The movie has been produced by Sanjivani ..
