Gangster is a 1995 Indian Bollywood action film released on 1995. The film is directed by Dev Anand, produced by Dev Anand , music composed by Jatin-Lalit.
The movie revolves around the two people who are common people who have been very possessive about the way people thought of pulling the common sentiments of people. The story goes around a Christian priest called Father Farera (played by Dev Anand). He is sent to jail with the help of a man called Chandulal (played by Ajit). But one day, Chandulal rapes the forest woman and kills her. Then after this Peter, who is Father Farera's friend goes to help the woman is also killed by Chandulal . Father Farera is an eye- witness to both these cases, and then informs the police. However, Chandulal bribes the police and the Judge also. He ensures that it is Father Farera who is arrested for the crimes and convicted for 14 years. Now, father in the jail makes good friends and then the movie shows his journey.
