Gangvaa is a 1984 Indian Bollywood drama film released on Sep 14, 1984. The film is directed by Raj Shekar, produced by B. S. Dwarkesh , music composed by Bappi Lahiri.
The story revolves around Gangvaa and his parents. He stays with his parents and his brother in a village. His dad works for a thakur named as Mahendra Singh. On one fine day, while digging a well, Gangvaa’s father gets a treasure and he tells this to Thakur. He tells him that they should in form police of this treasure and then do want they want. But, Thakur doesn’t listen to this and Gangvaa’s father puts him to jail. But, Thakur gets out of the jail and he kills Gangvaa’s daddy. Gangvaa then comes to know of this killing and he makes a strategy. He along with his brother and friends become dakuus and they start exploiting Thakur’s men. Then even the police force starts searching for Gangvaa and they also starts finding for him. Once, he is found he is sentenced to jail, but still he runs from the jail. But, after Gangvaa and Jamuna wants to get away from the village, he is been killed by a villager and then things end on a very sad note. Seeing Gangvaa dead, even Jamuna also dies and the entire village is unhappy to see that their leader has been killed now and there will be no one save them.
