Truthfully it all happened in a small happy family. . Devinder Srinath believes only in one obsession and it is to bestow selfless and sincere emotions upon his younger brothers Narendra and Rajendra. He wants to do everyting for them even at the cost of happiness of his only son, Sujit, who is a neglected child. . One day Devinder goes to his native palce and there by a strange co- incident and under very tragic and heart throbing circumstances, comes across a situation which lands him into a matrimonialtie and he comes back with a wife to the great surprise of his family. Hypocritically and ostensibly all give the exhibition of their pleasure but Sujit does not accept his step mother Janki. . Janki, who is dumb, is stunned by his behaviour but finally wins him. . A day comes, when Sujit craves for the undying affections of his step mother and finds a solace in her lap. . Nirmala, Rajendras wife, falls out against Janki and lays out a wicked and crooked scheme and becomes the cause to disturb and disint- ergrate the whole family. . Janki leaves the house, "Parivar Sadan", to commit suicide. Sujit follows her and saves her. Janki brings up Sujit. . Devinders younger brother Narendra and his wife leave the house. .
