Ghazab is a 1982 Indian Bollywood family drama, drama film released on May 28, 1982. The film is directed by C. P. Dixit, produced by N. N. Sippy , music composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.

Vikram Singh (Shreeram Lagoo) is the owner of an estate and lives with his son Ajay Singh (Dharmendra), who is way too innocent and doesnot have any wordly experience to handle his father's business. Vikram feels very worried as to what will happen to his son when he passes away. Ajay is in love with Jamuna (Rekha) who is a village girl. Vikram Singh doesnot agree on their marriage and wants Ajay to marry a girl chosen by him. One day, Vikram Singh sees some trucks going through the estate at nightWhen he goes to check, he finds out that it contains drugs mixed with tea. Vikram Singh is killed as he tries to open his mouth against all those people who are none other than his own employees. But Vikram singh reveals a secret to Ajay before dying. He tells him that his real mother is alive and that he has a twin brother in Bombay. Meanwhile, the criminal minded employees take advantage of Ajay's innocence and bring him a fake mother and brother who are paid for their act. When Ajay comes to know about the plan of Arjun Singh (Ranjeet), manager of estate about killing him, he gets angry and tries to run away but he is murdered. The film takes a supernatural turn when Ajay's restless spirit finds his twin brother and urges him to take revenge of his death. At first, Vijay Singh(Dharmendra), the brother of Ajay, is shocked to hear the spirit's voice, but once he confirms the story of his brother and father from his mother, he decides to help his brother's spirit to avenge his death.Both brothers fight back and teach the estate employees a lesson....


Thakur Vikram Singh was a prosperous man, but inspite of all his wealth and factories, the Thakur was a dejected and sad man. His son Ajay alias Munna Babu inspite of his age remained a child. His actions resembled that of a ten year old. All that he loved were two people Jamuna, the local Munshis niece and Raju, on orphaned ten year old child. . Thakur Singh decided to get Munna babu married so that his wife could take care of him and take charge of the vast inheritance too; but Munna was bent on marrying Jamuna and thwarted Thakurs attempts with the help of Jatashaner, the cook. Whilst this drama was on at one end there was intrigue of another kind at the other. Manager Arjun Singh, cleverly hoodwinked Thakur and smuggled charas in his tea containers. . One day Thakur apprehended Arjun Singh and his henchmen red-handed with charas and he rushed to inform the police, little realising that the evil men had removed the brakes of his jeep. The jeep crashed and Thakur was brought home in an unconscious and badly bruised state. On regaining consciousness, he revealed Munna the secret of his twin brotehr who stayed in the city with his mother. . As Munna left to get some paper in order to take down the Thakurs written statement, Arjun Singh entered and snuffed the life out of Thakur with a pillow. Munna was shocked to see the dead Thakur on his return. . After Thakurs death, Munna Babu wished to leave for the city and meet his brother. This made Arjun nervous and fearing that he may be exposed, took the help of jatashanker whom Munna had confided in. Jatashanker, in turn recruited two nautanki performers Narmada and Kaveri and presented them as Munnas mother and brother, whereupon Munna requested them to arrange his marriage to Jamuna. . The Arjun Singh set about his devious plans. He asked Narmada and Kaveri to tell that his marriage could not take place. Munna hearing their refusal was heart-broken. He even threatened suicide which prompted Jatashanker to make Munna write a letter to that effect to his mother and brother. . Little poor Munna realise that he was writing out his own death warrant.
