Leaving the harsh and tenacious droughtlike conditions in her village, Veeram and his family members travel to the big city to lead a better and glamorous life. Veeram gets engaged in a crime syndicate, and eventually becomes the group leader. When he is killed, his wife Rambhi takes on the authority of the leadership with such a ruthlessness as never seen before, and it is not before long that she tenure unchallenged. Until one day she resisted to get a Hindu girl and Muslim boy get wed in her community is when she starts to notice her world collapsing all around her, and she has to use every ounce of force and experience she has gained in her lifetime to overcome this challenge.
