Her keen-eagle-eyes spotted in commander Amarsinh a good means to reach her goal. with the help of her vivacious beauty she got Amarsinh in her hold. She began to cajole him to rise in rebellion and usurp the throne. The fidelity in Amarshinhas heart refused to do anything of the kind. . Meenaxi decided to take revenge. She sought the help of Vanraj-an enemy of the nation. He marched on Madhyapradesh with his army and with the help of traiterous soldiers of Meenaxi succeeded in killing the Kind and capturing Amarsinh. . But Madhypradesh lacked no patriouts. Exasperated, alone he rushed and fought a single handed battle, succeeded in capturing Vanraj and his sister Sumitra. Meenaxi was in no mood to take things lying low. She used her wiles on the guards to set Vanraj and Sumitra free from the goal, but in the flight Sumitra could not keep pace with Vanraj and Meenaxi and she was left behind. She managed to reach Prataps residence. With the consent and blessings of Prataps mother, Sumitra married Pratap. . This news upset Vanraj-who vowed vengeance on Pratap. He declared war on Madhyapradesh. This calamity inspired the people of Madhyapradesh to form a solid front. They elected Pratap as their King Meenaxis ambitions were dashed to the ground. Still nothing daunted she decided to try another ruse. . She managed to get Sumitra out of the fort by telling her about her brothers illness.
