Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Hangama (2006)
Hungama is a hillarious comedy by Swapan Saha. The story of the movie is basically about Ajay (Mithun Chakraborty) and Bijay (Jishu Sengupta), the two sons of a famous industrialist Shubhomoy Basu (Dipankar Dey). Shubhomoy Basu wants his sons to marry Tradevi's (Laboni Sarkar) two daughters Malini (Rituparna Sengupta) and Trisha (Anu Chowhdury). As Malini is Taradevi's step daughter they treat her like a servant. Ajay in order to fulfill his father's wish goes to Taradevi's house in the disguise of Hanuman Prasad Bandwala and takes the job of their servant. On the other hand, Bijay with the help of a friend meets Trisha as a millionaire's son.Taradevi's manager Nandadulal Ghosh (Dulal Lahiri) wants his son to get married with Trisha to get hold of Taradevi's entire property and plans accordingly. But unofortunately his plan fails as Malini and Trisha get married with Ajay and Bijay respectively.Then starts the next part of the plan. Taradevi comes to know that Bijay is a fruitseller's son after knowing this Trisha denies to accept him. He starts pretending as drunk and one day he insults Hanuman/Ajay and Hanuman and Malini leave Taradevi's house.They come to Shubhomoy Basu's house and both son and father reveal the truth to Malini.On the other hand, manager with his wife come's to Taradevi's house to stay there and later comes their son Bhaja (Shankar Chakraborty).They trap Taradevi and Trisha and ultimately at the end of the movie both are successfully rescued by the two brothers Ajay and Bijay. While Shubhomoy Bose discloses the true identity of both of his sons.Taradevi realises her mistake, accepts Malini as her daughter and seeks apology from Shubhmoy and her both son-in-laws.
