Hatiyar is a 2001 Indian Bengali drama film released on 2001. The film is directed by Ramasish Bakshi, music composed by Ashok Raj.

This is the story of an honest police officer named Bikash who loves a girl who is a dancer named Urmila. This police officer fulfills his duty very honestly as a result he has a very deadly enemy named Radhesham Gupta. On the day of his marriage this enemy of his kills him & his beloved takes revenge upon him. Luckily she finds a man named Lakhan who remembers Radhesham Gupta in term of his face. So she starts to train him accordingly, but this man falls in love with her. There is a reporter named Debi, who urges Urmila to stand against Radhesham Gupta, again he is the relative of Lakhan. Ultimately, Urmila takes after may hurdles succeeds in taking her revenge. Lakhan played a very important part, as because he inspired as well as helped Urmila in her way till the end of Radhesham Gupta. Finally Lakhan was sent to improsonment for helping in the killing of Radhesham Gupta which brings the story to an end.
