Heere Ki Titli 1970

Heere Ki Titli is a 1970 Indian Bollywood film released on 1970. The whole film centres around a piece of jewellery a diamond brooch made in a shape of a butterfly. It belongs to Pishima an archetypal formidable aunt. She comes to Maithon on a visit to her engineer brother, Ganesh Ghose. In Maithon there is a funny detective Gutebabu, who is freindly with the Ghose family. The aunt shows the butterfly to the family and says it has been blessed by her Guru. At night Pishima hides her jewellery in a flower pot for safety. Hasi (her niece) has decided to make a gift of a flower pot to her teacher Labanya. Manglu the family retainer takes that particular flower pot to Labanya next morning. ON the way he meets Gute, who plays mischief and changes the flower pot. Manglu in turn pinches a similar flower pot from Apurbas house and puts his own there. He takes the new flower pot to Labanya. Pichima discovers that her special flower pot is missing, but she does not tell any one. Manglu returns with the understanding that he has delivered the flower pot. Apurba on his way out from his bungalow in his car knocks down the flower pot. His little niece picks up the brooch from the shards and puts it in her pocket. Her sister Shefali throws it away which falls into a basket. At the Ghose house Gute is teaching Yogic exercise to Mr. Ghose, Nepu and his assistant Soma. They all go to Apurbas house but there is no sign of the brooch. An award of Rs. 500/- is declared which goes upto Rs. 1000/-. Pishima keeps fast and does meditaion and performed yagna.
