Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet (1999)
Surjit searches out that his sister is in love with Manjit Singh, the younger bro of Thakur Gajendra Singh. When his sis gets pregnant, Surjit goes to Thakur's home in order to get Manjit to wed his sister. The Thakur insults him, making him a vegetarian, eat dogfood and beg on his patella. Surjit does the same and is told to go back and make marriage preparations. The next day after this Thakur meets Surjit and kills himand his beau in broad daylight. Surjit's last wish is that his two boys, Kishan and Raju , must get wed to Thakur's two girls, Preeti and Megha and they must have the Thakur come craving to their doorstep for this wedding alliance. Surjit's sister grants to this, and accordingly brings up the two kids. Not happening, Raju decides to move away from their lives, leaving her alone to bring up to Kishan. Years after, they are reunited when Raju returns back, and they join together to satisfy Surjit's last wish. What they do are not aware is Megha and Preeti are to be wed to Minister Khurana's two boys, and nothing in the world is going to make the Thakur change his perception.
