Hum Tum is a 2004 Indian Bollywood comedy, drama, romance, musical film released on May 28, 2004. The film is directed by Kunal Kohli, produced by Aditya Chopra under banner named Yash Raj Films, music composed by Jatin-Lalit.
The story starts with Karan Kapoor and Rhea Prakash who meet for the first time in a flight bound from Delhi to New York. They just cannot bear each other: Rhea is distracted by Karan's amorous mannerisms and Karan is discontented because of Rhea's overt seriousness. They have a huge fallout and part ways, affirming never to see each other's face again. Luck brings them together again at Rhea's wedding ceremony three years later and the mars vs. Venus war continues. Rhea weds and leaves for USA. Four years after, Karan has become a successful cartoonist and goes to Paris to visit his father. He then meets Rhea again and finds that her husband is no more. Karan tries every possible thing to bring happiness back in Rhea's life by brightening her mother that he will find a suitable groom for Rhea but the two never comprehends that they are drawing closer to each other.
