Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is a 2014 Indian Bollywood romance, comedy film released on Jul 11, 2014. The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan, produced by Karan Johar.
This is the story of Kavya and Humpty. The story starts with Kavya who wants to get a designer lehenga for her wedding. So, she decides to go to Delhi for her wedding shopping. After this, there she meets with Humpty who is actually a very notorious guy of his college. He goes to a professor aiming that he would increase his marks in the paper. Later after this, he meets with Kavya there. Kavya falls in love with Humpty and this is her love at the first sight. Now, Kavya and Humpty both start meeting each other and then initially their friendship starts blooming into love. Humpty helps Kavya’s cousin to get rid of a problem with her boyfriend. But, Kavya is not able to find a perfect wedding lehenga for her wedding. Then after the wedding of her cousin, she shares a night with Humpty and next day, she gets back to her place. Now, her wedding preparations get started and then she starts her preparations for the same, but is not happy. Then there arrives Humpty who actually struggles to get her married at any cost. But, her father arranges her wedding with Siddharth Shukla who is perfect in everything. So, now Humpty does the things to impress her father. And in the end gets married to her.
