Labour Union leader Kalicharan is killed at the instigation of Thakur Pratapsingh in the presense of Kalicharans sons, Karana and Shiva. Karan pursures the killer and he is reported missing when fails to return. Pratapsingh drives away his wife Kamala with her son, Iqbal to take a second wife and has a daughter Nisha named by her. Years later Nisha falls in love with Shiva whereas Pratapsingh had to promised to give Nisha in marriage to Ranjit.
