Nothing’s different! After Mangalashtake once more, Renu Desai’s work in the film ‘Ishq walla love’ is like torturing the audiences to look for again on the same concept. The story is about a girl meeting a guy and a guy meeting a girl. Both of them enjoy being together and even they fall in love for each other. But things shatter when the boy asks the girl to get marry, instead the girl tells him to be in ‘live- in- relationship’. Therefore, this creates complications in their lives and the entire love atmosphere disappears in the darker shades. The central characters for the film are ‘Sulagna Panigrahi’ aka ‘Ovi’ and ‘Adinath Kothare’ aka ‘Ajinkya’. Both of them hail from well-educated families and want to live life on their own terms and conditions, but somewhere a simple feeling turns out to be complicated. Renu Desai has somewhere mis- constructed the basic ideology of making a love story. The first half of the film is very promising whereas the second half of the film makes you boring. You really cannot expect something more out from its second half. Yes, even though the film seems good but has lot of artificial stuffs that don’t exist in the current world. The film has two people who are poles apart and this changes the film’s track. The film’s good point is that it highlights some parts of modernized woman and focuses on women empowerment. The film is vibrant in terms of chemistry between Sulagna and Adinath. The film has good and decent sound tracks. Somewhere in the film, you can realize that there is lot of uncooked stuff, which makes the film useless and visually disappearing. The film’s high ends are those excellent romantic scenes mingled up between Ovi and Ajinkya. The dress designers have beautifully carved modern outfits for Ovi and for Ajinkya too. The cinematography is lighter and that is what gives you the feeling of being modernized. The film’s main concept is Ovi’s marriage concern, which is nowadays the concern of modernized women. But the movie’s incomplete editing is a major concern. Renu Desai could have worked on making something more realistic and something more pleasing. The story somewhere puts an end to your excitement. Watching the film only for entertainment will do, but please don’t expect more than that.
