Such tortures and suffering could not deviate him from the path of devotion and sacrifice for the well being and sacrifice for the well being of his people. . Due to the evil spell of Shanidev the water of Sanjivani Kund vanishes This can onlybe restored when a person sacrifices his own son with his own hands. This puts Vikram in a predicament.
