Jai Mahalaxmi Maa is a 1976 Indian Bollywood mythological, musical film released on Jan 01, 1976. The film is directed by Vijay Sharma, produced by Kanti Kanakia.
Jagirdar, a proud man, lost in wealth and vice, has three daughters Gauri, Champa and Bela. Gauir worshipped Goddess Laxmi, whilst the other two daughters adopted their fathers habits. Jagridar, to teach his daughter Gauri a lesson, got her married to a poor woodcutter and her other daughters to rich men. He later tried to put in all kinds of bariers in her way but Gaurin steadfastly maintains her faith to prove the greatness of good over evil.
