Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharni (1989)
The movie starts with Gangaram Verma. He has worked for the local municipality for several years, and is known in the society for being honest. Many contractors have tried to bribe him but never succeeded. During a felicitation celebration for Gangaram, he says no to take the sum of 1 Lac rupees from one of the builder named as Prem Kumar. So, Premkumar wants to teach Gangaram a lesson. He gets Gangaram son named as Vijay (who considers Lakshmi and hates being poor), married to his only girl named as Sapna. In course of a short span, they have a little boy named as Ravi. They then scheme to get Gangaram to trust them by considering Ravi, and upon doing the things, they get him to sign his estate to them. As Ravi gets more connected to grandparents and also because Vijay and Sapna have got the estate they make Gangaram and his wife, Laxmi’s living worthless. They then lie to Ravi that his grandma and granddad are dead. Years move after, and then one day Ravi comes across a coolie who is similar to his granddad. He accompanies him home, and gets to hear the sayings from his lips, and decides to treat his mother and daddy the same way they treated his grandma and grandfather.
