Jhooti Shaan is a 1992 Indian Bollywood action film released on 1992. The film is directed by Ranjan Bose, produced by Askari Jafri , music composed by R. D. Burman.
This is the story of Ranimaa. Ranimaa still considers that she is the empress of her lavish living mansion. But, this mansion has been converted into a hotel. She has three daughters named as, Ganga, Krishna and Kaveri, and a boy named as Kuldip. The main tale in the story is when Ranimaa was abreast by Police about four bank-robbers living in her hotel

Krishan, Ganga and Kaveri are orphans who live with their grandmother, a queen by birth. The days of the kings had long been over. But Ranimaa refuses to accept it. She still believes herself to be the queen. She has converted the palace into 'Parvat Mahal' hotel for earning money and runs it with the help of the three girls. The girls are down to earth and move with the times. Krishna is in love with Dinesh. Krishna's brother Kuldip spoils her plan of marrying Dinesh by telling her that Dinesh is already married. He meets Dinesh and tells him that Ganga is not a good choice. Ganga is in love with Prakash, who is a motor mechanic. But Rahimaa does not approve of Prakash as he is not a prince. Prakash however. helps the girls run the hotel by bringing a lot of tourists to stay there. He also entertains the guests by singing and dancing. In the meanwhile Dinesh is mislead by Kuldip and convinced to rob a bank. Dinesh along with his gang of robbers comes to hide in Parvat Mahal hotel. Dinesh introduces himself as a prince. Ranimaa is very impressed with him. When the police come to reach the hotel for the robbers, Ranimaa does not allow them to search her room. Prakash discovers that he is an illegitimate child. He goes in search of his father. He comes to know that his father has gone to Parvat Mahal. He goes there and overhears a conversation between Kuldip and his father and finds that his father is the chairman of the looted bank and is in trouble. He help his father along with his mother but Kuldip shoots at Prakash and he himself dies in the process when he is shot by the police.
