John Jani Janardan is a 1984 Indian Bollywood comedy,drama,action,romance film released on Oct 26, 1984. The film is directed by T Rama Rao, produced by Purnachandra Rao under banner named Lakshmi Production, music composed by Laxmikant Kudalkar. Madhu Shivastava and her father went to the airport to receive Janardan Gupta who has gone abroad for a management course. Madhu was the love of Janardan, but she was surprised to find Janardan emerging from the plane in the garb of a sanyasin. Later Janardan declared at a party that the soul of John A. Mendis has entered his body. Mendis was an upright police officer murdered twenty years ago by a tough named Gojju Seth. Gajanan makes for Gajju Seth but is prevented. Gajju Seth sends Asha and Gopal to pump off Janardan but they fail. Jaani was Janardans twin brother. He died while saving Janardan but not before he has killed Gajanan.
