Jwalamukhi is a 1980 Indian Bollywood drama film released on Dec 26, 1980. The film is directed by Prakash Mehra, produced by Baboo Mehra , music composed by Kalyanji-Anandji.
Savita Devi was in love with inspector Rakesh. But before he could marry her, he was killed by under-world king P.D. Seth and the blame put on Daku Sher Singh. Savita at that time was pregnant. Her family insisted on an abortion to save the family honour, but Savita firmly refused. The child was delivered in a maternity home in Simla and thrown away in snows to die, and Savita was told that the child was born dead. The child was picked up by Rai Sahib and brought up his own son. . Savita got married to Anand and delivered a child from him. By a strange coincidence she brought up her both sons together. In due course of time she became a great social worker who was well honoured in India and abroad. . The volcano erupted when Rajesh discoverd that he was a bastard child of Savita and was thrown away to die.
