Kaalia is a 1981 Indian Bollywood action, musical, family drama, drama film released on Dec 25, 1981. The film is directed by Tinu Anand, produced by Iqbal Singh , music composed by R. D. Burman.
This is the story of a simple and a kind-hearted man named as Kaalia. He lives with his brother, sister-in-law and a young daughter. His brother one day meets with an accident while he is working in the mill. On that day, he losses his arms and thus, his job is also lost. Now one day. Kaalia begs before his brother’s boss, but he denies for the help. Then, after arranging the amount when he goes before the brother, he dies. As Kaalia arranges the money from robbery, so he is put to the jail by his boss and then in the court he meets with a criminal, who teaches him to crime. After returning back, he steals his boss gold and the smuggling items that his boss does. Then this man, puts fire into the mill and is again sentenced to the jail. His sister-in-law knows that he is in America earning money due to which they get rich. Then Kaalia gets the help of Warden, whose daughter was kidnapped when she was small. Now, warden and Kaalia join hands and they go to find her niece who has been kidnapped by his boss. Kaalia is in love with Parveen Babi.
