Delhi-based, but now staying in Mumbai, Karthik Narayan is a much ill-treated worker with ACL Building, in secret love with gangling Designer, Shonali Mukherjee, who has been succeeding stable with yet one more co-employee, Ashish. After buying a new phone, Karthik gets a phone call from a guy speech that bears a resemblance to his, who trains him to trail instructions; tell nobody about this phone call, and he will attain achievement. He shadows these orders, is soon endorsed, as well as makes friends with Shonali, and lasts following orders from this caller. After Shonali sorts it clear that she adores him, he breaks his promise, and is advised to pursue psychotherapy by her. He unwillingly does so with a Psychiatrist, Dr. Shweta Kapadia, who confidences to cure him by staying at his place early morning in his flat - not appreciating the tremor and shock that wait for the couple.
