Story
Rameshchandra Chaudhry is professionally a lawyer and is in love with Hemnalini, unsatisfied when he discovers that his father wants him to get married to Sushilla, child of a widow. He primarily refuses despite of his dad rejecting him, but alters his mind when the bride's mom appeals with him, and gets wedded without even considering; depart by him getting to know his bride. After the wedding, they board a boat which turns over after a tempest, and they end up being the only stayers. Powerless to get Hema Malini out of his mind, he rejects to be warm with his bride. On chatting with her slowly over the next few months, it gradually drops in that she is not Sushilla but Kamla - the bride of a different man! The question leftovers: what can he do under these situations, and what influence will this have on Kamla - who has customarily believed him as her husband.
