Khakaan is the story of inexorable Fate-of destiny, however ark that works itself out to its fatal conclusion. . The king of Shiman was hourly getting bad news of a war which was going against him and of critical condition of his wife, who was in the throes of child-birth. . All of a sudden he receives good news from the war front that his General Rointon had turned the tide of war in his favour, he is happy and prays to God to save the life of his wife and give him heir to the thrown. . A fakeer comes and wanrs him that his wife will give birth to a girl and he was destined to die by the hand of his own son-in-law. And the son-in-law would be-no one else, but the son of victorious General Rointon. . Rointon, who is patriot, promises to deliver his child for the saftey of king, but his wife warned by a faightful servant escapes with the child. Turhan, the wazir accuses Rointon of perfidy and loyal Rointon imposes on himself self imprisonment till his son is found and the search for the son who is of danger to the life of the king goes on. . Time passes and the prinfe grows up into a beautiful young woman and falls in love with leader of wandering tribe who is brave courageous and kind-hearted, this is Khakaan-would she marry him?
