Khana is a 1938 Indian Bengali biographical,historical film released on 1938. The film is directed by Jyotish Bandyopadhyay, music composed by Dhiren Das.

Khana was the princess of Ceylone . Nobody knew the actual identity of Mihir. He was grown up under the guidance of queen Sunanda. The extremely learned Kahana calculated and found out the actual indentity of Mihir, but she could not reveal it because it might harm him. But inspite of unwillingness, she only ? that Mihir was the son of famous learned lady of India. Only ? of the Ceylone Kingdom, Khana married Mihir and went to India. They reached the capital of Bikramaditya's kingdom Ujjain. Mihir stunned every one by his astronomical calculation which according to the famous astrologer Baraha was quite impossible. Kamandak, the favourite disciple of Baraha, was heavily displeased on the Ceylone returned astrologer couple. Everybody in Ujjain started favouring Khana and Mihir. Almost every body lost their interest on Baraha. That was an insult and it was unbearable to Baraha at an old age. In the middle of the night, he went to Khana-Mihir's place. Khana told him to consider them as his daughter-in-law and son and said he also had one son.Baraha was surprised. No body knew of that, how did she know. Kamandak locked Mihir in his room and set fire to it. Mihir started shouting and hearing that shout Khana wanted to go there. Baraha resisted her . He enquired who was his son. Khana was forced to tell her that Mihir was his son. King Bikramadirtya wanted as answer to a question from Baraha. Being unable to answer, Baraha asked help from Khana. King Bikramaditya incidentally was the witness in the court palace of Baraha. Not knowing the entire detail, Kamandak told Mihir that the king has insulted the master in the court. Mihir hearing this, blamed Khana for this.Kamandak said if he had beaten he would cut his tongue. King Bikramaditya was coming to receive Khana is his court. But Khana in the mean time had already cut his tongue.
