Khanjar (The Knife) is a 2003 Indian Bollywood action film released on Jun 27, 2003. The film is directed by Chander Sharma, produced by Chander Sharma , music composed by Amar Utpal.
Kumar is a business tycoon and lives in Shimla with his to be expecting wife, Laxmi, with two sons, Raja and Ajay. Both Laxmi and he are captivated that they will soon be welcoming Komal is a daughter. Before the birth of Komal, Kumar comes to know that Ajay and the child she is bearing in her womb are not his, but of his employee Sadashiv, who has hit himself and left a note accusing Laxmi. Kumar takes Raja along with him and asks Laxmi to take Ajay and get out. Ajay and Laxmi go to Bombay where Laxmi gives birth to Komal. After years, Ajay has grown up in terms of his maturity and gets a job in Shimla as a dancer and a singer. Laxmi initially trashes to let him return to Simla, but permits him to do so. Ajay does not understand that he will be cleared into a web of lies, fraud, and murder where a killer is killing local pupil on the 13th of every month.
