Raj Khanna is a wealthy business tycoon wedded to Archana who is pregnant with twins. His evil step-sis Devyani wants his property, so she fools Raj into thinking that Archana is carrying on an affair with her buddy. When Raj defies Archana, she feels insulted and they decide to get divorced. Archana gives birth to twin daughters but Devyani separates two sisters. Years after, Tina (played by Kajol) is living with her dad Raj and her twin sister Sweety (played by Kajol) is living with her mom Archana in Glasgow. Tina is a tomboy who likes horse riding while Sweety is demure and reclusive. They bump into each other accidentally and plan to reunite their parents by going to the places.
