Story

Kudaikul Mazhai is a 2004 Indian Tamil romance film released on Sep 03, 2004. The film is directed by Parthiban, produced by Parthiban under banner named Bioscope Film Frames. His latest Kudaikul Mazhai is no different. In this film, he has dwelt on a story line, which others would not dare venture. The movie is a brave attempt on a youth with schizophrenia. Parthiban plays an auto-rickshaw driver, who comes across a young girl, Madhumitha, who instantly falls in love with him. Though Parthiban initially doesn't take her seriously, she runs into Parthiban again and again. Over a period of time, he develops a liking for her. Assuming that the girl too loves him, he spends all his money and time for her. However, a shock awaits him, when he returns from Tirupathy. Madhumitha turns out to be a TV anchor with a satellite channel, who discloses that she acted as if she was in love with him only for a show televised for her channel. This was enough to change the course of Parthiban's life. This drives Parthiban to the extreme decision to end his life. He gets affected with schizophrenia. Madhumita, a Mumbai model, making her debut looks stunning. She seems to have done her job with ease. On the flip side, the second half drags a bit too long with Parthiban himself playing his twin brother, who shouts aloud whenever he appears on the screen. Karthik Raja's tunes are good.
