U.S. settled Esha Esha Deol is in love to fellow mate Rahul Tusshar Kapoor. Rahul too is in love to Esha. Esha goes home to India and informs her parents Raj Babbar, Nina Kulkarni about her attraction for Rahul. The family is happy, and proceeds to finalize the wedding. They accompany Esha to Rahul's home. Rahul's parents Rajesh Khanna, Smita Jaykar accept Esha. But when they ask Rahul, to everyone's amazement, he refuses to get wed to Esha under any circumstances.
