Fair enough to watch! Lagna Pahave karun has a fair concept which makes you realize the importance of getting married. An arrange marriage concept with a modern taste. The story starts with Aditi Tilak (Mukta Barve) and Nishant ( Umesh Kamat). Nishant is an NRI who has returned to his place to marry a girl of his parent’s choice. But after the wedding preparations are over, the girl rejects to this wedding and she decides to marry another man. Nishant is heartbroken because his boss has also suspended him from his job and even the girl rejected him because he was fired from his job. Nishant then decides to start a new business in India. One day while he is seating in a restaurant, he meets with Aditi Tilak. She is a business woman and she sets a business proposal for Nishant. Even Nishant likes her approach and they decide to start a matrimonial site for the ‘would be getting married’ individuals. Their matrimonial concept is different. The arrange marriage approach in their office starts with the introduction of a couple in a black room. Then their next level is dating and yes, there are many modern techniques, which makes their matrimonial site different from the others. Their first couple to get marry is Rahul and Anandi. But as things runs smoothly, there is a future forecaster who predicts that the couple will get separate within the 6 months of their marriage. Aditi is afraid and she decides to make this wedding a successful wedding for lifetime. So both Nishant and Aditi handles their wedding tension very carefully, but it is Anandi’s behavior that leads to the conflict between these two and they decide to get separate. Now as a part of the challenge, Nishant and Aditi have to close their business site and they decide to quit. Even, Aditi and Nishant fail to confess their love for each other. The end is shown how Anandi gets to realize of her wrong doings and she confesses her love for Rahul. Similarly, Nishant confesses his love for Aditi and the film ends on a happy note. The story has a very perfect picturisation of everything. The story’s song ‘Janata ajanata’ reminds you of the ‘Suraj hua madham’. Mukta and Umesh no doubt capture your attention till the end, but it is Anandi’s character which makes you aware of the strength she has given to hold your attention till the end. Even though the concept may have been extracted from some movie, but the arrange marriage strategy shown in the film is very different. It makes you realize that even modern taste can be added to the old stuff. The journey of arrange marriage is very beautifully shown in the film. The first half is little boring but the second half keeps you ignited till the end. The director has worked hard in getting the script correct. The movie is a must watch for today’s young generations.
