A close companion of the black ant queen goes out to fetch water everyday and an old ant from the red group observes her everyday. A group of red young ants also observe him everyday and decides to teach him a lesson. They pelt some stones at him and he topples over and falls on the young black companion of the black ant queen thus breaking her pitcher into pieces. She is furious and reports the matter to the queen, who immediately asks the king to take action. He sends his kotwal to kill the old red ant, but the kotwal is prevented from doing so by the spider and he is told to take someone else’s head and present it before the king. The black ant king is informed that the job has been done and the red ant king is informed that his favourite subject, the old red ant has been killed over a petty matter. He is furious and declares war. Hearing this, the black ant king is frightened as he is a coward and he seeks the advice of Ghoon in defeating the red ant king. Ghoon, who advises both the kings how to go to war with each other, is actually a two timer who continuously sets up the two king against each other in order to serve his own interest. The red ant king’s son and the black ant king’s daughter are in love with each other and they leave their respective kingdoms and go away to a secluded place. Just when the battle is about to start between the two groups, it is the spider who prevents any war from being fought by revealing the truth and also informs the kings about Ghoon’s real intentions. Both the kings are furious and swear to finish him off, but the spider decides to take care of him. He asks the king to unite and make merry since they are all part of the same lineage.
