Main Awara Hoon is a 1983 Indian Bollywood family drama, drama film released on Dec 09, 1983. The film is directed by Ashim Samanta, produced by Shakti Samanta , music composed by R. D. Burman.
The story starts with widowed Dinanath Kumar. He lives a poor living in the city named as Poona with two boys named as Rajeev & Sanjeev, a girl named as Payal; and widowed sis named as Kalawanti. He has has many things preserved for Rajeev who he has got educated, but is not happy with Sanjeev, who functions as a Garage Mechanic with his supporter named as Tahir Khan. Conditions rise to such an extent that the Police officers arrest Sanjeev for all the troubles which he did in the house of Premnath and nearly murdering him. Dinanath begs Premnath to take away the charges, which he does as he fears that he may be charged for raping Payal, and in this way Sanjeev is set free. Rajeev tells Sanjeev to leave the place. Sanjeev leaves and shifts to Bombay, where he initially finds a job in a bakery run by Chandulal and his girl named as Bela. After Chandulal accuses him of exploiting Bela, Sanjeev clashes with Sahir Khan, and starts functioning as a Mechanic and a taxi-driver. Then on one fine day, one of his career is none other than Rajeev. While both secretly see each other - they are not clear that their paths are going to cross again.
