Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Marga (1996)
It’s a story of two friends Satyapriyo and Chandrakanta. Satyapriyo is a painter of kind personality who loves and works for common people, whereas Chandrakanta is wayward. Satyapriyo did not marry and started a philosophical journey and worked for common poor people. But Chandranath chose the path of common amusement and materialism.In his zamindari, people are unhappy. He started a factory in the village ,but no one from the village got a job there. His only son returned ffom abroad and joined in that factory. He married and fathered twin babies. The grandchildren of Chandrakanta become verry educated and very corrupted. Satyapriyo got lots of love from common people. But except for a lot of money Chandrakanta got nothing from his son and grandchildren.Finally they both fell ill, at the death bed Satpriya got a lot of attention from the villagers. But Chandrakanta died in absolute loneliness.
