Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Matribhumi (1997)
It is a patriotic film. Akhay Sikhdar was a pradhan in a village. But he had relation with anti socials. Akhay's son Amit was a patriot Satyajit Banerjee who was a schoolmaster. He and his daughter Mayna lived in that village. Bijoy, Manav and Amit were ex-students of Satyajit Banerjee. They all loved Satyajit and Bojoy also loved Maya. Satyajit Banerjee was elected as an election candidate against Akhay Saikhdar. So Akhay Sikhdar came to master's house at night. He and his hooligans molested Maya infront of Satyajit and finally killed them both. Then Bijoy, Amit and Manav wanted to take revenge but police stopped them. Satyajit Banerjee wanted them to join the BSF. So Bijoy, Amit and MAnav joined the BSF. After training they become army officers. One day they saw a former BSF officer who lost his one leg in the war. He was Indrajit Gupta, father of Bijoy. After marriage Bijoy's father, Indrajit went to war and threre he lost his leg. Everyone said that Indrajit died in war, but Bijoy's mother did not belive it. In hospital, Indrajit came to know that Bijoy was his own son. Then Bijoy sent father in the village tio his mother. Then the war started. Bijoy and his friends went to the war and dedicated their life for mother land.
