Neeta, a college student works as a private tutor for earning. She , her school teacher father, mother and another three siblings live in a refugee colony, in a popular,? her poor master ?who is unable to bear his family responsibility alone. Neeta's mother depends a ot on he sings well dreams about it he is encaraged and supported by neeta. Neeta gibes him pocket money ad pockets him from their parents pressure on earning money. Other tow siblings geeta and mantu also depend on her for their hards . Neeta tie the knot with her lover,sanat. Sanat, also an ambitious person, doing his phd and depends on neetafor his study. Oath ofthem dreaming about a good day, but soon,there dream comes to the end point. Tarine gets abone fracture and alll the responsibl goes to nata .nata leaves hwer study and talees a job mantu a spork person gets is a job and soons leaves home pavesty grasps their family sanat realizes it and takes a good job.he wants to marry neeta,but she request to wait marriage is impossible for her,at this mament.sanat,unable to wait,marries geeta,the younger sister of neeta sicle,but she doesnt stop her struggle mantu gets an accident and admitted to hospital.a lot of money is heeded for treatment sanat gives it to nata.suspicians geeta fight over it sanat how realizes how bluder he has done but he makes comprizer with his wife as she now pregnant. Mantu returns home.he still has his job and gets also compensation from company.shanker,now a temos singer,returns and gets a worm welcome from all the mamber of his family he,one he realizes that neeta is suffering from t.b,actually a dath sentence of the time he brings her to a sanatoriam,in a bill station.now,they have a well set4tled family.they have two-stored building.guta has a nanguly boy.now they have money and prestige and society shankar tells all these to neeta to case her mentally,suddenly,neeta burds in tears and shout in emotion.her words spreads over the hills-'dada [elder broyher], i wanted to live life.
