Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Mejobabu (2009)
Jiban, a young boy in a village lives with his blind younger sister.The local promoter sends goons to threaten him, but he doesn’t listen.They kill his younger sister. His girlfriend, a witness to his sister’s murder turns hostile at the police station (she had been threatened) and is later killed by the promoter’s men. A reporter Chhabi who supported Jiban is also killed by the promoter’s men. All these events make Jiban turn into a thug and he enters organized crime. He starts taking revenge by taking revenge against people who had ill-treated him or other people in general including the officer-in-charge of the police station. When he kidnaps the son of the O.C, the plan later backfires as one of his female accomplices along with ‘Mejobabu’ the second officer-in-charge of the station helps to return the boy to his parents. In an encounter, the O.C kills ‘Mejobabu’ thinking him to be hand in hand with Jiban without knowing he had helped to free his son from Jiban.Jiban and his men surrender in order to lead a decent life in the future.
