Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Meri Adalat (2001)
Ashok (Rajnikanth) is an upright cop, who considers his duty as his prayer. He can do anything for his duty. He has a loving sister Asha (Komal Mahuakar). Asha loves Arjun (Mohnish Behl), who is one of the most talented boys of her college. Arjun also has a brother Shrikanth (Monty) who is always jealous of him as Arjun always defeats him in all the competitions. Shrikanth also envies Arjun for the reason that Arjun is in good books of Asha, whom Shrikanth has been eyeing. Asha shares a good rapport with Journalist Pramila (Jeenat Aman), who loves her brother Ashok. One day in College, Shrikanth eve-teases Asha to which Asha slaps him and insults him in front of one and all. Raging with fury, Shrikanth decides to take its revenge from her one day. Arjun and Asha love each other very much, and want to marry each other. Ashok has no objections with it, and marries them off. On their honeymoon, Arjun and Asha are killed by Shrikanth and his friends while they are trying to rape Asha. When Ashok finds about it, he is hell-bent on getting Shrikanth his justice. But Shrikanth's father (Kader Khan) can do anything to save his son. He bribes higher authorities and tries to supress the case. But even Ashok is made of sterner stuff. He vows to kill Shrikanth and his entire family. Who will win - Money or Truth?
