Mouchak is a 1975 Indian Bengali comedy,drama,family film released on Jan 10, 1975. The film is directed by Arabinda Mukhopadhyay, produced by Bharat Shamser Jangbahadur Rana , music composed by Nachiketa Ghosh.

Nitish Roy who was a officer, lived in Kolkata, with his wife & brother Sitish. Champa is their servant; she loved Amiyo who was a taxi driver. Nitish's wife loved Champa, but not Champa's behaviour with Sitish. Sitish Roy got a service on a jute mill but the company was very far from their house. After seeing this, Mr. Chowdhury who was the manager of jute mill, proposed his daughter's marry with Sitish. So Mr. Chowdhury invited Sitish to his house for lunch. Somehow, Sitish escaped from there. On the other hand, Mr. Banerjee, who was a worker of jute mill, also wanted Sitish as his son-in-law. Sitish lived in front of Nipa's house. Nipa was a school master's daughter. Sitish got attracted to Nipa. As he keeps on peeping through the window. Nipa took it offensively and asked him to keep the window closed. But love blossomed between them & proposed each other. Finally Nitish meet with Nipa's father and gave the proposal of their marriage on which Nipa's father did not agreed. A hilarious situation occurred when all the fathers of spinster arrived and demanded their daughter marriage with Nitish. Seeing this condition, Nipa's father finally agreed to marry his daughter. The film ended happily.
