Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Mr. Azad (1994)
Satyaprakash and his companion live in a poor society of mill workers. Satyaprakash is a union political, and this puts him in deadly clashing with the mill management and he is murdered, leaving behind his pregnant beau. His wife gets implicated of killing her husband, is found culpable, and sentenced. While in jailed, she delivers to a baby boy named Azaad, and is sentenced to death. Thus strayed named Azaad depends on the bighearted individual in this poor community. When he gets matured up, Azaad takes to petty crime and behaves like a modern day Robinhood. His sweetheart named Roopa, wants him to get suitable engagement, and stop being a crook and thief. Azaad gets a placement as a police inspector, but he does not take up on his Robin Hood style, and does good in his power to accept bribes, and ignored by the criminals for a colossal fee. When equipped with, he openly states that he does not keep the sum for himself, but rather uses it for the needy in his society. Then the passing away of a honest Havaldar named Hari creates a change in Azaad, a change that will put him in dispute with the local crook, as well as with the people he has been struggling so hard to help.
